... which was to say she occasionally replaced a book of stars with the textbooks of botony to figure out what this world really could hold. (Or so I would like to believe)

Hola!

My name is Jenny and this is my chance to indulge in life twice- once to experience and once to reflect (and probably laugh). My bearded husband and I live just north of Chicago with our fluffy cat, Max VanPeebles, in a half deconstructed house. I would not be lying if I told you I climbed a ladder to get to the second floor for one year. I try to find the beauty in home construction, especially when our fluffy cat loves laying in fresh saw dust. During the summer, you can find me in our garden adoring peonies, dahlias, & baby bunnies and ignoring the untrimmed windows and table saw in the living room.

I am a neuro rehabilitation occupational therapist which means I help facilitate the skills of living for people three to ninety-three years old. On good days (which are most days) I can play Scattegories, skip, hold hands, perform scapular mobilizations, sing, and play a homemade game Attack of the Frog while rebuilding muscle tone and neurological pathways of the brain all in the same day.

A few small details:
I feel immortal when wearing snow boots
I love page protectors and organizing
I have no business being on anyone's trivia team
I romanced the Mississippi river from the banks of St Paul
I schedule my Saturday around Car Talk & This American life.

Please enjoy snorkeling around twosmallmonsters which has been morphing into anything short of modern celtic dance since 2002. (Give me time and I am sure we will go there eventually).
