Wow. So much to say and not to say about two thousand oh eight. It was both gray sky miserable & starry sky magnificent. It took me an entire year- yup, from January first right up until December- to truly muddle my way out of the biggest gut wrenching period of my life thus far. (Am I twenty seven or eighty four?) In pictures it doesn't look so bad. Maybe in a few years I wont even remember the gross stuff. That must be the beauty of love's recovery. Thank you to everyone who literally held my hand this year. I love you and you truly mean the world to me.

OH EIGHT!
Do you see it? Emily is top O and I am bottom O and together we are 8!
(and I look like some slick greaser from the 1950s standing
over an empty vodka bottle . sigh)
