Part 4 of 2,999 tasks to do on the small house:
Paving a walkway to our front door
1. Demo. Demo. Demo.
Then sit among the rubble and question why. why. why.
2. Plot and try to envision something better to come. Use visuals if possible.
3. After digging what seems a trench fit for a queen, add limestone.
4. Add sand liberally. Shaken or stirred- your call.
5. Note my absolutely fabulous body mechanics to preserve my back.
6. And finally, a little ray of hope. After all the neighbors have come by to encourage, after Ben leveled and releveled the path three times, & after my mom swung an ax a few times. . . we are complete. Now we need to install a doorbell so we know when you will arrive.
