27 Years of Excellence: Day 2-5

This week has been slate gray. Everywhere. I would like to believe that we Chicagolanders are fighting double fisted to keep inspiration and lofty aspirations during a quite dismal period. Oh February, you are a challenge that keeps us from taking spring for granted. Thank God for you. Meanwhile, Ben and I are driving around the sleet-snow mix looking for a parking lot so I can drive recklessly and spin in circles until the adrenaline pumping through my body maxes out.

Day 2: A date with my mom, her best friend, & daughter to see Jersey Boys. As we are hiking our way up the several steps (we are, in fact, the top most row), I am overjoyed with memories of doing this with my OT classmate friends Lilian, Annette, Wayne, Brady, Megan, Mamie, Lisa. . . We must have attended 6 different plays/ musicals each year. I miss you!

Day 3: The February valentine tea party (pictured at top of blog) with Michelle, Booger, Liz, Lil G, Big G, Carol, & Laura. Mmmm chocolate mint cupcakes with constant comet black tea.

Day 4: Valerie on the big screen with surround sound. Thanks Ben.
