Safety in lists: A linear way to organize my mind. I'm the mood for:
1. A mountain in Alaska. A long train ride. The safety of a school bus. The unfolding of a map & no direction but ahead. U turns not optional.
2. Rasberry chai tea on a cold morning in St Paul, Minnesota. My apartment overlooking Grand Avenue. The strange, buttery smell of my old radiator. Megan.
3. A midnight drive with Elizabeth. With Wilco. And " our song " as we blow past the Bahai 20 miles above the speedh limit.
"Still I ought to tell you everything . . ."
4. More snow. Seriously. Bring it on & cover me already.
5. A 24 hour long conversation.
