Thank God 2008 is on it's way out the door. It's rather peculiar when you experience an entire plethora of emotions, events, tiny disasters, & triumphs in one year and then reflect. In pictures (which I assembled in a 2008 photo album), the year doesn't really look so bad. So maybe, just maybe, it didn't look as bad as it felt. Out with that junk and on to bigger, better things. Today, a priest, psychiatrist, housewife, and I all concurred that 2009 is going to be a good year. "It's definitely our year," the priest said with a sly smile before swatting at a balloon with the tennis racket. Amen.
Big Bad Beasties:
I met three out four new years resolutions in 2008. Hurrah! This year, I am only making one resolution: By December 31, 2009, I will have completed one fiction story. The heat is on now and I have no choice or excuses. Sizzle.
