Good things this week & beyond:0 comments
Elizabeth's email basically capturing all the lyrics that have ever moved us and placing them into our lives today. Example: "You didn't even have the decency to change the sheets." Because my dryer's broken, so I can't do the washing until Sears sends the repairman. The fun part for me: figuring out what song it is and then applying it to my life.
Planning winter traveling. 1. Cabin camping in Wisconsin in mid January with Ben's entire nuclear family which should totally rock with games, my favorite apple cider recipe (which most of you now have), & maybe skiing. 2. Skiing in Colorado -hopefully Breckenridge!- sometime in February. 3. A visit to and from Megan in Minnesota in BOTH January and March. Hurrah!! 4. A plane ride to Boston and then a road trip from Harvard to upstate New York with Elizabeth. Perhaps in March? I will have to prep the ipod.
A weekend full of crafty-ness (yay Erica, my sewing/ knitting/ paper cutting fiend), amazing friends, & Christmas gatherings. I even bought a rosemary tree, a strand of 10 christmas lights, and a few ornaments. So Emily, maybe there is a part of me who has some Christmas spirit afterall. You were right.
Having John, my father-in-law, sign up to run the New Years Day 5K in Lincoln Park with me. I've wanted to do this since 2001 and now I finally found someone to run with me!! I am so very very excited.
My co-worker, Angela, who I have become so close with this last month. Who makes me laugh hysterically at work and is always ready to ham it up for me in return for a knee slapping giggle. My OT soulmate who shares sour patch kids and a passion for highlighting every day.
Good things.
PS: I get it. When you were mine by prince. Heartbeat. You were sorta kinda my best friend.
