The sky in Chicago has been gorgeous as you can gather from yesterday's pictures. Cumulus clouds on a fall early evening always make the most impressive skies. The pictures were taken by 1. Jenny 2. Stefanie 3. Jan (my mom) 4. Agnes (Stef's mom). It is so awesome to open my inbox at the end of the day and find these pictures from everyone. I am loving it!
Perhaps I should take a quick moment to introduce Stefanie to anyone who has not known me for a long time. Stefanie is the daughter of my dad's best (and childhood) friend. When we were four or five we played for hours pretending we were gymnasts, jumping on Stefanie's bed and using two twin beds as parelell bars. From what I can recall, I was awesome. Stefanie was like the Russian competetor that gave me a good run for my money. We always tied for gold. (Or at least, that's what I let her think!) We roomed together at Purdue University for two years where we laughed loudly, at a lot of Papa John Cheese Sticks, posed for silly pictures, and pretty much found everything amusing. Even Unsolved Mysteries. Today, Stefanie paralegals by day. In her free time, she enjoys long walks on cool, crisp days with a warm beverage, reading and bargain hunting. She wishes she could devote more time to her love of papermaking. I am so exciting to be embarking this little adventure with her and our moms. Keep up the great work, Mavericks. Haha. . .
Hey you!
My name is Jenny & this is my chance indulge in life twice-- once to experience and once to reflect. I love old trucks, succulents, and crazy-weird details that make life interesting. This is my chance to document the little things. I hope you enjoy.
