Angela & I camped out by the lake with our Pita Inn for an afternoon of gorgeousness. We staked a place right where the city skyline becomes a perfect horizon crest for Evanston. It also happens to be graduation this weekend for Northwestern so a million and three soon-to-be graduates & their families wanted their pictures taken right where Angela and I sat munching on falafel.1 comments
"Can you take a picture for us?" A family asked.
"You couldn't ask anyone better," Angela gushed. "She's a photographer."
"Oh!" The family literally clasped their hands in pleasure. "How lucky!"
"I'm not," I pleaded with them as Angela laughs at me. "Now they expect something great."
Looking forward to my journey to New York City next week. I am so overcome with excitement to toil, play, shop, wit, and write with my ever lovely Lisa. I will be entering NYC with scabby skinned knees. Yes, I fell like a 3 year old and started to cry immediately upon landing on the ground. And let's be honest. You've been on my mind.
