A birthday wish that was presented to me this past February from a very dear friend:
This is to
unbuttoning dreams
(Or clothes)
acting like an old man
wearing tweed
having texture in your life
success in sewing
being in a man's world
triumphing beige

Chicago's springtime is bursting at the seams of grassy lawns & puddles of mud leftover from last week's shower. I scheduled two and a half weeks of vacation this summer with plans for gardening, reading by the lake, visiting with friends like Michelle & Lil G, and a visit to New York City to toil with Lisa Loo. A very dear patient of mine and I are also planning a therapeutic garden for all my little gardening fiends to work on this summer at RIC. The bus driver, apparently also a gardening fiend, is building us some planters that will allow people to garden from wheelchairs for us. The energy at work is rising and I truly love my job when it becomes dominated by functional cognitive/ problem solving outings to Lowes for flowers and getting fingers in the dirt for fine motor coordination building. Chicago's spring is probably one of the most welcomed springs I can imagine. Yum.

Hey you!
My name is Jenny & this is my chance indulge in life twice-- once to experience and once to reflect. I love old trucks, succulents, and crazy-weird details that make life interesting. This is my chance to document the little things. I hope you enjoy.
