Mayerelli recieved this whimsical satin play fort.
To which Elizabeth, Rachel, & I promptly fell in love with.
If only we had had this as young princesses.
So we giggled throughout the entire complicated instructions.

Teo & Mayerelli literally feast on their ginger bread houses.

Remember when you waited for Santa like this:
total anticipation? Picture of Gloria stolen from Michelle.

Friends since second grade:
visiting Michelle & her amazing family.
(And getting a much needed Sonic Youth blib from older brother)

My loverly sister-in-law Rachel recieving a gift.

Mayerelli & I made three of these ornaments.
Can you guess which ones?

I think of Dzia-Dzia every Christmas who used to decorate the Christmas tree Christmas Eve with Fannie May chocolate santas. The traditon was that my cousin and I would race around the tree trying to find all the chocolate santas. Dzia-Dzia would light a fire, maybe dance around the living room once to White Christmas, and settle in his arm chair to watch the chocolate frenzy. I miss so many family members who have passed away since then. I am so thankful that this Christmas was colorful and with many laughs from the belly.
