I am so thankful for the zesty army of Michelles that flavor my life on a somewhat monthly basis. Michelles have sprinkled Michelle-maddness into my Jenny-world for over twenty one years. We celebrated Michelle No. One's 27th birthday last Saturday in the citified section of our bustling hometown. In the last year I have thoroughly enjoyed how the Michelle No. 1 imitates Michelle No. 2's driving habits and vice versa.0 comments
We dropped off Michelle No. 1's baby girl at her sister's house and proceeded to pick up Michelle No. 2 for a small celebration. I dialed Michelle No. 2's cell phone to prepare her for our arrival when promptly she asked: "Who's driving? Michelle? Is she sitting 6 inches away from the steering wheel?" Upon glancing across the car to Michelle No. 1, I did indeed observe close steering wheel contact. "Confirmed," I said simply into the receiver and watched Michelle No. 2 emerge from her house in a bright red Madeline inspired children's coat from France.
"Hummers don't bother me so much," Michelle No. One stated on the way to birthday dinner. A massive, orange hummer was gradually passing us on the left. "I realize they take up a lot of fuel but drivers of Hummers actually have to be considerate drivers. Otherwise they'll smash and trash the entire road of people. Drivers of Hummers have to be conscientious and rather curteous or else the results could be deadly. I appreciate their awareness of everything on the road. Now it's the 30 something man in a Jetta and the 30 something woman driving an Eclipse. . . those are the ones that scare me."
