Angela, Kristen, & I skipped across the street after work to Potbellys where we snuggled into a corner to gobble dinner and boost each other's morale. With the early darkness that settles around six o clock these days, the temperature dropped into a perfect chilly November evening. We pulled our coats close around ourselves as we skipped back across the street to our cars. I was launching into the tiny red Mazda when my cell phone rang. Elizabeth's voice at the other end: "I want you to turn on 103.5." Just as the last few oh-so-loved and oh-so-familiar jingles completed themselves on the radio she said: "I want you to observe the first radio play of Mariah Carey's All I want for Christmas of the season." Sigh. November first brings my favorite Christmas songs... already. And I love the phone calls to confirm another season of festivities is upon us.0 comments
