It's true: I cry so easily when songs move me in church. And so we stood close to each other that Sunday, she and I, both with tiny little tears that we tried to cover up with an occasional, casual brush from the back of our hands.

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, Sufjan Stevens

Here by the Water, Jim Croegaert (an Evanston native that Ben & I saw in concert earlier this fall)

Music in general is incredibly moving for me- it either gets my blood racing or completely flips my brain into a different time and place. Just today I was standing in Chipotle ordering my steak burrito when Far, Far Away by Wilco came on and suddenly I was four years back driving in the passenger side of Elizabeth's car eating ice cream and dream and dreaming of what it would be like for Ben & I to be together. "I'd give this world just to dream and dream of you on a bed of California Stars."

Hey you!
My name is Jenny & this is my chance indulge in life twice-- once to experience and once to reflect. I love old trucks, succulents, and crazy-weird details that make life interesting. This is my chance to document the little things. I hope you enjoy.
